If there is one thing Arc Raiders excels at, it’s sending players into absolute meat grinders for a handful of data. The new “On Deaf Ears” quest from Lance is no exception. This mission forces you to traverse Stella Montis—arguably the most dangerous, ARC-infested, maze-like map in the game—to interact with four separate, unmarked computers.
The silver lining? You do not have to complete this all in a single run. If a Bastion or an enemy raider takes you out after step two, your progress is saved, and you can pick up where you left off in the next deployment.
Here is the complete tactical breakdown of exactly where you need to go so you can get in, get the data, and extract in one piece.

‘On Deaf Ears’ Quest Overview
| Quest Step | Objective | POI Location | Exact Details |
| Step 1 | Researcher’s Guest Logs | Lobby / Reception | Bottom floor of the Business Center reception desk. |
| Step 2 | Researcher’s Lecture Notes | Auditorium | Computer terminal on the main stage desk, facing the seats. |
| Step 3 | Prototype Information | Medical Research | Upstairs lab room on the east/northeast side of the Medical Center. |
| Step 4 | Printed Shipping Logs | Assembly Workshops | Second-floor office in the northeast corner, resting on a cardboard box. |
Step 1: The Reception Guest Logs
Your first drop-in goal is the Lobby POI on the north side of Stella Montis. You are looking for the Reception area of the Business Center.
If you enter from the west through the Lobby or head north from the Cultural Archives, look for the massive “Reception Business Center” graphic painted on the wall. Head to the bottom floor, walk behind the main security desk, and interact with the computer. Stay frosty here—the Lobby is a notorious choke point for PvP firefights.
Step 2: The Auditorium Lecture Notes
From the Reception desk, this is a quick rotation. Take an immediate right (or head southeast from the main Lobby) to enter the Auditorium.
Make your way down to the front of the lecture hall where the main stage is located. There is a single computer terminal sitting on the desk facing the audience chairs. Interact with it to download the notes and trigger the third phase of the quest.
Step 3: The Medical Research Prototypes
Now comes the hard part. You need to cross the map to the Medical Research sector on the western side of Stella Montis.
The fastest route is straight across the Loading Bay, but any veteran raider will warn you that this area is heavily patrolled by a Bastion. Do not run through the bottom floor. Stick to the upper levels and use the ziplines to cross the bay safely. Once you reach the Medical Research main lobby, head to the upper floor on the eastern side. Look for a room with a large, beige computer terminal in the corner to secure the prototype data.
Step 4: The Assembly Workshop Shipping Logs
Your final destination is the Assembly Workshops, located just north of Medical Research.
You don’t need to hunt for an active computer this time. Head toward the northeast section of the Assembly area, specifically looking for the stairs near the Raider Hatch. Climb the stairs to the second-floor control room that overlooks the factory floor. Tucked in the far corner of this office, you will find a stack of printed shipping logs resting on top of a cardboard box. Grab them, and the quest is officially complete.
Extract safely, and head back to Speranza to hand the data over to Lance.

FAQs
Q: Do I lose my quest progress if I die before extracting?
No. The “On Deaf Ears” quest checkpoints after every successful interaction. If you die after getting the lecture notes in the Auditorium, you will respawn on your next raid needing only to go to Medical Research.
Q: What gear should I bring for this quest?
Honestly? Run a free kit. Stella Montis is brutal right now, and because you only need to interact with computers and don’t need to extract with physical quest items, there is no reason to risk your high-tier loot. Go in light, move fast, and don’t take unnecessary fights.
Q: I interacted with the shipping logs but the quest didn’t complete. Is it bugged?
There is a known minor bug where the final step sometimes fails to register. If this happens, simply let your run end, deploy into a fresh raid, and run straight back to the Assembly Workshops. Interacting with the box a second time usually forces the completion to trigger.
