Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Meets MRF Officials, Holds Kohli-Signed Bat at Secretariat
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay met with top officials from MRF at the state secretariat on Friday. The meeting marked one of his early steps to boost the state’s economy after his party’s big win in the April elections.
Vijay, whose TVK party won 108 seats, spoke with MRF Chairman K.M. Mammen, Vice Chairman Arun Mammen, and Managing Director Rahul Mammen Mappillai. They talked about the company’s work, production, exports, and future investments.
A major point of discussion was the new ₹5,300 crore greenfield tyre plant in Sivaganga. The factory is expected to create around 1,000 jobs for local people.
The meeting also had a special cricketing touch. Vijay was seen holding the MRF Genius Grand Edition bat signed by Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli. The image caught the attention of many.
This meeting shows the new Chief Minister’s focus on economic growth. The auto sector is very important for Tamil Nadu, and MRF is a key name in that field.
