South Africa Announce Blockbuster 2026-27 Home Season: Australia, England, Bangladesh Set to Tour
Cricket South Africa (CSA) has unveiled a packed home schedule for the 2026-27 season, with Australia, Bangladesh, and England all set to tour in a multi-format summer headlined by the reigning World Test Champions.
The action kicks off in late September when Australia arrives for a white-ball tour followed by a three-Test series. Bangladesh will tour next, playing a two-Test series followed by white-ball fixtures. The season concludes with England’s visit for a three-Test series and ODIs.
CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki emphasized the importance of the season, stating, “Next season carries significant importance for both our Test and ODI teams. We have made a promising start to the new World Test Championship cycle… and it is important that we continue to build on that momentum.”
He also highlighted the ODI series as crucial preparation for hosting the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup: “Our focus remains firmly on building towards hosting the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2027. Every ODI series from here forms part of our preparation for that global event.”
