Big blow for Australia! Star spinner ruled out of the Upcoming IND vs AUS T20I series Opener

Star Indian batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli played explosive knocks as India won the third ODI match, but hosts Australia managed to win the ODI series by 2-1. Now both the teams are ready for the 5-match Ind vs Aus T20 series, which is set to start from October 29. However, Australia suffered a major setback before the T20 series.

Star spinner Adam Zampa will miss the first two matches due to personal reasons. Cricket Australia has included Tanveer Sangha in his place. Australia won the second ODI thanks to Adam Zampa’s excellent bowling, where Zampa took four wickets. Given Adam Zampa’s impressive T20 record and experience, Australia might miss him for the first two matches, although he will be available to play in the remaining three.

23-year-old Tanveer Sangha hasn’t played much international cricket yet, having only played a couple of T20 matches so far, taking 10 wickets, with 4/31 in his debut match against South Africa being his best T20 performance yet. However, Tanveer Singh was also part of the T20 squad during Australia’s tour of India in 2023, where he took 5 wickets in five matches against Team India, in which he was wicketless in two matches.

The BCCI has named one squad for the five-match T20I series, while Cricket Australia has named three different squads with minor changes. However, Mitchell Marsh will be seen captaining the Australian team in all five matches, while Indian captain Surya will lead Team India.
