All Area 41 Music Disc Fragments in Far Far West

If you spend all your time fighting enemies and completing quests on the Area 41 map, you can easily miss some of the map’s hidden collectibles. The Area 41 Music Disc Fragments in Far Far West reward players who actually take the time to explore the environment.

Once you gather all three pieces scattered across the desert, you unlock the rhythmic Always Late soundtrack for your home base.

Note:

The exact fragment location and routes may vary depending on your exploration path. This article is based on my personal view and findings.

Before you start your run, you should equip a strong solo build. You will have to deal with enemy camps to reach some of these spots. You do not need to collect the pieces in a specific order, but I’ll recommend you to start from the south and then move towards the north.

As you get close to a fragment, look for a bright visual cue. Each piece emits a glow that looks like a small solar light. This makes them stand out easily against the dusty surroundings.

Start your search in the southeast corner of the map. Look for the large satellite dishes in this area. Near those dishes, you will find a small shack with a slanted roof. A group of Marauders guards this location.

Take out the enemies before you try to enter the building. Getting ambushed while searching a small room is a quick way to ruin your run.

Once the area is secure, walk inside the shack and check the rectangular crates. The first fragment can be found resting on top of the containers.

Second Music Disc Fragment Location

Travel to the southwest southwest side of Area 41. This fragment is located on the elevated wooden scaffold route above the shoreline.

You have two different ways to reach the upper platform. You can either use the zipline access point or climb up from the shoreline below.

Both methods work perfectly. Once you reach the top, look for a small table with a record player.

The second fragment is sitting on a wooden barrel right next to some dynamite boxes.

Move toward the center-north section of the map to find the final piece. You will spot another set of large satellite dishes here.

Locate the massive storage warehouse nearby and enter through the main front door. The inside of this building can be dark, so keep an eye out for that glowing solar light effect. Walk toward the back right corner of the main room.

The last fragment is placed on top of a cluster of wooden boxes. Pick it up to complete your collection.
