The Building a Library quest in Arc Raiders sends you into the heart of the Buried City to recover three books for Apollo. The task is simple on paper, but the Library sits in one of the busiest combat zones on the map. To finish the quest smoothly, you need to know exactly where to go and how to move through the building without wasting time.
How to Complete Building a Library in Arc Raiders?
1. Where to Find the Library
The Library is located just north of Marano Park in the Buried City. This part of the map is dangerous because heavy ARC units often patrol the open area around the park. You can run into Bombardiers, Bastions, or even Rocketeers hovering above the metro station. It’s easy to get pinned down if you’re not cautious.
Because of this, it’s smart to go in with a simple loadout. If you’re knocked down, you won’t lose anything important. You only need to get in, collect the books, and get out.
2. Entering the Building
Once you reach the Library, step inside and take a moment to check for turrets or stray ARC units. The building normally has only one room that matters for this quest, so you don’t need to explore every corner.
The book stands you’re looking for are all inside the large room with tall windows facing the park. This room has two levels, but everything you need is easily within reach once you get inside.
How to Find All Three Books?
1. The First Book
Walk toward the row of windows that overlook the metro entrance. Near one of these windows, you’ll see a small display stand pushed up against a fallen shelf. Interact with the stand to collect the first book. Although the quest mentions three genres, the items you pick up will all appear simply as “Library Books,” so the order does not matter.
2. The Second Book
Stay in the same room and climb the stairs to the balcony above. When you reach the top, you’ll immediately see another small display stand. Interact with it to collect the second book.
3. The Third Book
Continue along the balcony toward the far side of the room. As you move past the shelves, you’ll notice another small stand next to some tipped-over bookcases. This stand holds the final book you need to complete the set.
Extracting Safely With The Books
Once all three books are in your inventory, you must extract with them in the same run. If you get knocked down before leaving the map, the books will be lost and you’ll have to start again.
Fortunately, the Library is positioned right next to a metro entrance. Walk outside toward the front of the building and head straight into the station.
The route is short, but it’s not completely safe. ARC Pods and Fireballs often appear in the tunnels, and other players may also be moving through the area. Move carefully, listen for enemy sounds, and watch for ambushes on the stairs.
When you reach the train, extract and return to Speranza to deliver the books to Apollo.
