Call of Duty fans have a reason for celebration this November. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is launching on November 14, 2025. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, it is anticipated to provide one of the most thrilling Black Ops experiences, incorporating a co-op campaign, multiplayer, and the beloved Zombies mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Date and Platforms
Available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and PC (Steam, Battle.net, Xbox PC), Black Ops 7 will also offer Xbox Game Pass users the ability to play on Game Pass on release day.
Although the first weeks of communication sparked rumors of an early November release, Treyarch has confirmed that the global launch will stay on November 14, 2025.

Co-op Campaign
Co-op is a first for the Black Ops series. Players are able to join friends in redesigned missions or go on their own to complete the objectives.

Black Ops 7’s multiplayer at launch will include:
- 16 6v6 maps and 2 20v20 maps designed for Ground War and Skirmish
- More than 50 unique weapons, built with a mix of futuristic prototypes and classic Black Ops weapons
- Expanded Omnimovement system with 360-degree sprint, dive, and slide
- All time great classics will be: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Kill Confirmed, Control, Gunfight
- Added a new objective-based mode called Overload (6v6)
- Non-disbanding multiplayer lobbies will be available at launch, giving players a continuous experience.
Zombies Returns
The traditional round-based Zombies mode is returning with collection to the Dark Aether universe along with the beloved classic characters: Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey, Takeo Masaki, and Nikolai Belinski. Rumors of the debut map have it as the largest ever created, and will feature the ability to use vehicles to navigate the map along with:
- New wonder weapons
- Ultra GobbleGum packs
- Dynamic environmental hazards
- Post-launch maps exploring areas like post-WWII New York City and Japanese temples
