Lanka Premier League 2025 Set to Kick Off on November 27 Across Three Iconic Venues

Sri Lanka Cricket has confirmed that the sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will start on November 27, 2025. The tournament, which showcases the best of T20 cricket in Sri Lanka, will be played across three key stadiums: R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele, and R Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla.

According to Samantha Dodanwela, the tournament director, the LPL offers a great platform for local Sri Lankan players to compete alongside international stars. This experience will be crucial as they prepare for the T20 World Cup, scheduled for early next year in India and Sri Lanka.
