Hyderabad Cricket Association

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has suspended its president A Jagan Mohan Rao, secretary R Devraj, and treasurer CJ Srinivas Rao after all three were taken into police custody on serious allegations of fraud and misusing funds. The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the HCA’s Apex Council and announced in an official statement on July 31.

According to the HCA, the suspension follows Rule 41(6) and Rule 15(4)(d) of its 2018 regulations. Investigations by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) are in progress after the three top officials were accused of cheating, forgery, and abusing their positions.

In its statement, the HCA emphasized its commitment to honesty and fairness and said the action was taken to protect the association’s good name and make sure proper rules are followed. With the president, secretary, and treasurer suspended, vice-president Daljeet Singh is now serving as acting president and in charge of HCA’s day-to-day operations.
