Illness is a core survival mechanic in Where Winds Meet. Falls, poisonous plants, corrupted zones, combat damage, and even mysterious books can leave your character weakened.
These ailments reduce Constitution, slow your progress, and continue to worsen if left untreated. To stay strong in battle and exploration, you need to understand how healing works — whether through self-care, clinics, or other players.
How to Heal Diseases and Ailments in Where Winds Meet?
1. Understanding How You Get Sick
There are countless ways to acquire an illness. You could break a bone or sprain something from a fall. You could get stung by a Weiss hive, poison yourself with Datura flowers, or get burned by fire attacks.
Certain conditions affect your Mind, Organs, Meridians, or Muscles, and each gives a different type of punishment.

2. When Self-Healing Works (And When It Doesn’t)
There are only a few ailments that can heal naturally. You could sprain something, and the sprain will heal over time. You could also have bee stings that will heal over time, and some mental ailments can be healed by environmental interaction. This could be done by standing in flowing water or warming yourself up by a fire.
Most of the time, illnesses cannot be self-treated. If you do self-treat, though, the illness will escalate. The Constitution menu will indicate when self-healing is applicable, and if it is not, you will need a doctor.
3. Healing at the Evercare Clinic
The primary single-player healing option is the Evercare Clinic in Qinghe, located between Moonveil Mountain and Blissful Retreat. Speak with Yao Yaoyao and select the ailment you want removed.
Treatment is instant, but expensive — often around 10,000 coins — and the cost increases as illnesses worsen. If your Constitution is heavily damaged, the clinic is the only guaranteed way to restore it fully.
4. Getting Help From Other Players
In Online Mode, you can request help from real players who follow the Healer profession. Select your illness in the Constitution menu and send a healing request. If a healer accepts, they perform a treatment mini-game that determines whether your ailment is cured.
Most players gather at the Evercare Clinic online to offer healing services. This is usually faster and cheaper than paying clinic fees, and healers often ask only for likes.
