The Dragon is one of the rarest and most impressive creatures in Raise Animals, but the game will never spawn it until you complete a special requirement. You can’t find it randomly, and you can’t unlock it through normal catching. Instead, you must prove yourself by completing a long-distance journey with a wild Phoenix.

How to Get the Dragon in Raise Animals?
1. Finding and Catching a Wild Phoenix
Your initial Phoenix does not contribute to the unlocking of the Dragon. The game specifies a wild Phoenix, and this type of creature will only be visible after you have explored sufficiently in the world. When you have traveled about 5,000 meters in any direction, a wild Phoenix will at last appear.
When the Phoenix is there, go to it slowly, catch it, then make a connection with it so you can ride it. This will be the Phoenix that you will use for the unlocking procedure. The distance ride cannot start until this procedure is done.
2. Riding the Phoenix Toward Everdawn
Once you have the wild Phoenix, your riding assignment is for 5,000 meters. The direction is important: you have to go to the Everdawn biome. During this period, keep yourself on the mount. If you get off or change animals, the game resets the distance tracking.
Keep your way straight, don’t stop needlessly, and keep going until you have the full 5,000-meter requirement. After this distance is covered, the game quietly triggers the Dragon’s spawn condition.
3. Finding the Dragon in Everdawn
The Dragon appears in the Everdawn biome only when the Phoenix journey requirement is met. If a Dragon is not visible upon entering Everdawn, it indicates that the Phoenix ride was not long enough. Confirm the distance and make another attempt until the unlocking condition is fulfilled.
When the Dragon is finally there, go near it gradually and trap it like any other animal. Have your inventory ready before you try to capture it. The Dragon is one of the most precious animals in Raise Animals, so getting it is a big step in your collection.
