Manchester Super Giants Unveil Logo for The Hundred 2026

Manchester Super Giants Unveil Logo

The RPSG Group has officially revealed the new identity for its latest franchise, the Manchester Super Giants, marking a fresh chapter in The Hundred after acquiring a 70% stake in the former Manchester Originals last summer. The centerpiece of the rebrand is a striking new logo featuring a winged elephant, which chairman Sanjiv Goenka says embodies the city’s “sport, passion, and legacy.”

The unveiling has generated significant buzz among fans at Old Trafford, though it has also sparked debate. While many have welcomed the energy and ambition behind the change, some have questioned the choice of a non-native elephant as the team’s symbol and the noticeable shift toward an IPL-style aesthetic, given RPSG’s ownership of the Lucknow Super Giants.

On the field, the franchise boasts considerable firepower. Retained men’s captain Jos Buttler and big-hitting Heinrich Klaasen headline the lineup, joined by new pre-draft signing Liam Dawson. In the women’s setup, Indian superstar Smriti Mandhana adds top-tier batting talent.

With a refreshed brand and a star-studded core, the Manchester Super Giants will be aiming to capture their first title in The Hundred, seeking to turn bold ambition into on-field success in the 2026 season.
